Estell is a third-year student at the University of New South Wales, studying Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice. She has worked at F&G as a Paralegal since 2021, where she has assisted solicitors in adoption matters, divorce and property settlement matters, and drafting Wills.

Within university, Estell has a strong passion for fighting injustices and changing policies to create a more equitable campus for students, particularly women, through her role as the 2023 UNSW Women’s Officer. Estell has played a large role in pushing UNSW management to provide their students with free menstrual products in their bathrooms, especially in light of the rise of period poverty within students.

Estell also led an initiative with UNSW Security to locate sections of UNSW campus with poor lighting which may be dangerous and unsafe for students. She hopes to continue making long-term change within her university’s campus with her last few years in her degree, aiming to create a space where women and other groups can thrive and prosper.
