Commencing his career in general practice, Xavier built a broad foundation across a range of legal matters before finding a passion for Family Law. Xavier has developed experience and gained valuable knowledge working collaboratively with a range of practitioners and counsel, including both senior and junior counsel.

With a strong focus on Family Law, Xavier practises across all aspects of family law matters, including divorce, property and financial disputes, parenting matters, contravention and enforcement applications, recovery matters, and Family Watch List proceedings. Xavier has experience in property matters progressing through the Priority Property Pool and the Complex Financial List.

Experienced at all stages of family law proceedings, Xavier supports clients from negotiation and mediation through to interim hearings and final hearings. Xavier takes a client-focused approach to resolving matters in a just and equitable way, with an emphasis on clear communication, practical advice, and empathy.

In addition to Family Law, Xavier has experience in criminal matters, particularly ADVOs. Xavier also advises in succession matters, including estate planning (Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Enduring Guardianship) and contested proceedings, including family provision claims in the NSW Supreme Court.
